TTD Free Bus Timings
Climb or drive high up to Tirumala, nestling among the seven hills in the Eastern Ghats, Catch the exquisitely carved gold gopuram of the Lord Venkateshwara Temple, glinting in the sun. The Tirumala shrine is a masterpiece of Dravidian architecture. This ancient temple has also found a mention in various Sastras and Puranas.
That's not all. There are other famous shrines in Tirupati town - Govindarajaswamy. Kodanda ramaswamy, Tiruchanur (Goddess Padmavathi), Kapila Theertham (Lord Shiva) and Srinivasa Mangapuram (Sri Venkateshwara).
at a distance of 6 kms from the Tirupati Railway station. The TTD has
arranged free buses from the railway station to Alipiri to start your
walking journey up the hill. Here the free luggage counters transports
your baggage (with locks) from the downhill to Tirumala.
Srivari Mettu is at a distance of 19 kms from the Tirupati Railway station. The TTD has arranged free buses buses and also APSRTC buses from the railway station to Srivari Mettu to start your walking journey up the hill. Free luggage counters are also availabe to transport your baggage (with locks) from the downhill to Tirumala.
By BusAPSRTC arranged buses to Tirumala through many boarding points (Tirupati railway station, Vishnu nivasam, Tirupati bus station, Srinivasam, Tirupati Balaji Bus Station and Renigunta railway station). The buses starts from 3:30 am to till 11:30 pm with a frequency of 5 min. The tollgate to Tirumala is closed at the break during 12.am to 3.00 am.
